Frequently Asked Questions

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture is a model connecting people directly with farmers before the growing season begins. CSA members pay in advance for a portion of next season’s crop. Purchasing shares prior to the growing season allows us to save costs on marketing and time during harvest time, and helps in the planning process for the growing season.

How are shares managed in the event of tulip crop loss?

We do everything to keep your blooms happy and healthy, but nature can be unpredictable! We are growing a limited number of tulips and there is some risk of crop loss due to unpredictable weather, and as a CSA member, you take on the risk with us.  Additionally, this is the first season for growing tulips at this location. Because of the trial nature of this first season, and because there is always the potential for crop loss, we cannot offer refunds on flower share orders.

What's included in the 2026 flower share?

Each share is $65 and includes weekly specialty tulip bouquet pickup for 3 consecutive weeks at Goodwin Bros Farm Stand in spring  2026. Bouquets will include beautiful mixed specialty tulip blooms of the highest quality. Each week will include different tulip varieties.

**Shares are $60 if purchased before Nov 24th!

When does the flower share start?

Flower share pickup start date is approximate. Spring weather can be unpredictable, but we will contact you no less than 5 days prior to the start date. We anticipate shares will be available for pick up sometime in mid April but please note that start dates can vary by several weeks.

Where and when do I pick up my weekly bouquet?

Pickup is at Goodwin Brothers Farm Stand, 458 Greenville Road, North Smithfield. The farm stand will be open limited weekend hours for flower share bouquet pickup.

Can I move a week due to vacation?

Unfortunately you cannot move  weekly pickup dates. If you'll be out of town, consider having a friend,  family member, or neighbor  pick up in your place.

Is there a delivery option?

There is no delivery option for 2026 tulip flower shares.
